What does a sale to ATT mean to us the subs?
Short term - nothing except maybe current issues on hold can move forward or get axed. Long term - new board could makes changes in top management that may cause change in strategic plans. Longer term - ATT management style filters down to customer service and billing - or - (my personal wish) ATT takes over billing .

A change like this isn't like somebody selling his furniture store and handing the front door key to a new owner. It's primarily new major stockholders choosing their own board of directors. Think glacier melting - before global warming.

Maybe I should apply for the uplink manager! ;)

Maybe so... I'd change so much on the birds "up there".

I usually speak my mind and tell it like it is, some employers don't like that.

That is exactly the problem with some employers. They would rather their employees suck and keep their mouth shut, than speak their mind and do things the right way.
