Looks like Cuba is covered , if they ever let satellite tv come to the public.

Not from what has been licensed.
Could Dish covert the 5 spotbeams on 119 to ConUS? Or is there the same license issue there? It would seem with all these spot beams on 110 that those couple from 119 could be moved from 119 to 110 and more space freed up on 119 for ConUS HD or 4K video.
No. Any 4K content will come from EA (61, 72) or WA (119, 119, 129). E18 is a spotbeam satellite going to the 110 orbital slot.wonder's if you'll need a second dish or a bigger dish for the 4k programming
So it isn't going to 110W now? They're going to use it at 61.5 instead?
Ha Ha, we need it over here.I thought that E16 was at 61.5, but I think it is CONUS? And that E3 was just a spare. Are the spots still on E12/Rainbow 1?
My question though , wouldn't they still have to re-file with the FCC?
I've not seen anything else stating it's going to the 61.5.
Just curious.

Last I knew their spot beam capacity is old and or Compromised on the 61.5I thought they already had a ton of capacity on 61.5?
