East Coast NBC Channel?

So I read Directv turned on an East Coast NBC station for everybody for the olympics.. I assume there is no way to get dish to do this? Those of us on the West Coast are getting screwed by NBC.. the couple live events they actually have are tape delayed 3 hours.. so things like Phelps race last night, there is no way to watch.. If not for the basketball only only channel, the USA/China game this morning would have been the same way... It's really dang frustrating, and I can't believe NBC did things this way.. ugh

Just because you read something on these forums doesn't mean it's true. The national NBC feeds (East or West coast) have not be opened for everybody by DirecTV.

A bit off topic but NBC itself seems to squeeeeze too many sub channels in their LosAngeles market. I tried to watch water polo but it was a BLURRY marco blocking mess through E*. I switched to OTA and it was a sharp, marco blocking mess. You could not tell what the hell was going on.
