Hello. I am looking to hook up 2 dvr's from DTV. I currently have 4 sat recievers in my house. My dish is an oval dish with 2 LNB's. I understand that you need 2 hook ups to plug into the back of the DVR. If I use a multi-switch,is it a 1 to 2 ratio. Do I use one coaxl hook up in the muti switch and come out with 2. Or is it something else. Does anyone have the specs on this.

In order to do this you will need an 4x8 or 5x8 cascading multiswitch, this will give you a total of 8 runs available, 4 for your 2 DVR's and 4 for your standalone units. the four ins will come from your phase III dish and produce 8 runs out. This is done though voltage variations. If you search the web there will be many sites that display the technical side of this for you.

Ok I am going to replace 2 of the stand alone units,with the dvr's. Can I just add a 3rd LNB to my dish and run 2 more lines. Also I do I know my dish is a phase 3 dish as you say.
