I just had Direct installed last Saturday, and so far enjoy it quite well. I was playing around with the DVR scheduling from my smartphone, and initiated recording while i was sitting in front of it, so I know it will work. So, I powered the DVR off, and scheduled a recording via smartphone app, and it didn't record. Does the DVR have to be left on? Or is something else a miss? I haven't found much of anything that covers all the basics on using this feature.
