If I'm already on autopay, would that qualify me to switch to DVR Advantage without doing the 18-month committment? Or does it require someone newly going on autopay, forcing me to do the committment?

It will not affect your commitment. Just call and change to it. Commitments only apply to initial sgn-up and equipment upgrades.
