DVR 921 Thin Blue Line

Anyone with a 921 notice the thin blue line in the middle of the screen on standard definition channels. I have mine hooked up via component to a 65" RP Toshiba. All the latest downloads.

It used to be there. Then it went away for quite some time. Now it's back again.

Welcome to the forum....

Known bug. Happens when SD channel are being upconverted to HD. S-Video wouldn't show it. Could also try 480p. Power Plug reboot may help -> for a while.

Now this good news. Rumor is that this bug is holding up the next software release. It's expected to be fixed in the next download (I'd guess 1-3 weeks).

I have been doing a daily power cord reboot to help avoid this problem and it seems to keep the line down to a minimum. I also notice if I use the safe mode( hd and sd at the same time) it makes the blue line much worse when I switch back to 1080i. I will be so happy when this ONE BUG is gone. Imagine an hd receiver that actually provides the BEST picture quality .
