2 mornings ago my 522 was turned on and all the dvr recordings were gone, along with the timers. So, I called Dish the rep told me she was sorry that that happened, but there was nothing she could do about it. re-setting all the times is a pain in the a$$. and the lost PPV movies is a real bummer. anyone else have this problem?

Two mutually exclusive possibilities come to mind.
1. The filesystem went corrupt somehow and the unit decided it needed to reinitialize the drive. Your recordings are toast.
2. The OS "forgot" where everything is and will rebuild it if you reboot by holding the front panel power button till you hear the fan running. Your recordings are still there.
