Do any receivers allow both the DVI and Component outputs to be active at the same time. I wish to feed 2 sets from one reciver though only one will be on at any given time as one is a RPTV while the other is front projection. If they can't be on at the same time, can any be switched easily. The front projection has copy protection so this would be the DVI input while the other set is 2 years OLD so this would be component input. Both are 16:9 High Definition. As they are in the same room, I do not want to have a seperate receiver for each.

How do others tackle this problem?

I can't think of any. they want to prevent what you would like to do from happening. looks like they did.
