HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc technologies will be in the spotlight. The backers of the two media formats are invited to set up displays and demonstrations of their respective technologies. Key executives will be on hand to meet and greet with members of the media and other interested parties; each camp will be able to say a few words about their respective formats.
Among other events at the Summit, there will be a session dedicated to "High-Definition Disc". The panelists are: Tom Adams, president, Adams Media Research; Steve Nickerson, SVP of market management, Warner Home Video and Robert Zohn, president, ValueElectronics.
