Hey guys, nice site!

I have a problem, I'm hoping someone can help me with. I have a TIVO receiver with dual tuners. But I only have one incoming Cable. I of course know I need 2 incoming lines in order to utilize the dual tuner features. Here is my problem. My house is configured in such a way that in order to run the 2nd line, it is going to require some serious work. (the lowest estimate I have so far was $450 and that was with an exposed cable for half of the run).

I have a Dual LNB dish, Direct TV. Is there ANY possible way to split that signal AFTER it comes out of the wall? Would a signal amplifier and then a split work? A Multiplexer? ANYTHING?

Thanks in advance....

You will need a stacker/destacker system. You should be able to get it cheaper than $450 for that setup. I've seen these go for $200 on average.

Can you explain what a Stacker/Destacker is?? I have never heard of it. By admission I am a total newbie......
