Dual Tivo's Same Remote Conflicts?

A while back I got two of the 250GB Samsung Tivos for my DTV, thought I'd put them both on the same TV - until everything I did with one remote was happening to the other one.....not good. So I put one of the Samsungs upstairs and paired the other Samsung with the Sony.

Now a few years later on the main TV I have the Samsung with one remote and a DTV R15 with a different remote - no problem.

But, as times change and everything becomes DTV only, what happens with crazies like us who have multiple DTV boxes side-by-side??

For example as I look to upgrade to HD upstairs, one R15 and an HR10-250 or hopefully an HR20-250 soon enough - will they both work or will the remotes conflict??

Or in a perfect world - two HR20-250's side-by-side, can it be done?

Any thoughts, insights, advice, riducle is welcome....THANKS!

There are 9 alternate remote addresses for Dtivos, so those samsungs could have been left together with no problems. Each Dtivo needs to be switched off of address "0", to different one from 1-9. this goes for 10-250 too. to switch see this post:

You can even set your dual TiVo remote addresses on your Harmony! We have the HD TiVo and standard R10 side-by-side. Either the Harmony or the separate remotes from the two TiVos control fine without conflict.

Set the addresses and be happy.
