Dual HD Outputs

Anyone hear of when we might expect some VIP series DVR's with both outputs being HD?? With the prices of HD tv's coming down, I've got more HD sets than standard...

I too, wonder about this - I think it's high time that one is introduced - once one gets spoiled by high def TV on TV! - watching Standard def on TV2 is painful - no matter how small the screen size.

I came up with my own solution. I got a 2nd 622 for the other room.

The 722 S model yet to be released, will have slingblade media features( sling catcher) built in that will allow you to sling an hd picture to another tv in the house. THe question is will it allow you to sling from the second tuner in hd or will it just sling the tuner 1 picture that is in hd anyway?

Actually, Leslie said they have a dual tuner DVR. I think the person was asking about a dual HD output receiver but they misunderstood the question to be about dual tuners.

I came up with my own solution. I got a 2nd 622 for the other room.

It's a good choice and I am doing that in the morning. A new 722 will "I hope" be here then. Very little added expense for what you get as my other receiver is a 222 so only one DVR fee.
