Dreambox autoswitch between 120 and 240 vac?

Hi Everyone !

I purchased a dreambox 7020s, and it came with a European style plug. The back of the unit indicates max. Power:73w 230v-50 Hz +-15%.

Since I live in the United States, 120 VAC - I'm concerned about plugging it in with just an adapter (vs a transformer).
I thought I read that the unit would auto switch between 120 and 240 vac.

Anyone familiar with this? Thanks.

just buy the plug adapter. the power supply is auto switching. it will take 110v or 220v.

only the dreambox 7000 requires 220v, all others are autoswitching.

My QualiTV is the same way...just takes the european adapter...radio shack has them for like 3 bucks
