Dream FTA receivers

Does anyone have any experience or opinions about the new Linux based Dream receivers? There's a DM500 and one other one. They do update with ethernet or serial port and seem to have similar features to the Coolsat 4000, but I'm sure that doesn't tell the whole story.

Overpriced for the US market, aimed more at Europe where there's far more FTA.
Used to be a popular choice for those who steal programming (Which is not tolerated here) until Nagravision2 started kicking in.
Still a versatile receiver if you're willing to pay over the odds for a receiver.
