i have been finding alot of feeds on just an analog reciever. i have found a baseball analog each of the last three days,tons of gun control talk, a crazy mexico feed where the military was out going after someone, and lots of feeds of tv shows not listed in orbit mag. one thing i have not found yet was dr gene scott. i remember him from when i was a kid preaching while smoking a cigar! did he go digital? or am i just not able to get the sat he is on. seemed like it was telestar 6 when i watched it last 14 yrs ago. i want to let my wife see him because she hardly believes me when i tell her about the cigar puffing preacher.

Dr Scott has passed on now, but you can still watch him on satellite... his wife took over for him... he married a porn star "Barbi Bridges" now called Pastor Melissa Scott and you can catch her preaching also.
I remember installing the Chaparral Montereys when they first came out - after a master clear, it would default to Westar 5, channel 2 - Dr. Scott
When you were watching Dr Scott,do you remember him or his staff singing about piss ants. I am not kidding, I think the song asked the question will there be piss ants in heaven. What got us at times watching him was the 10 minutes or so of horses.(pulling buggies and jumping) Anyone who liked horses would have enjoyed the show.
well his wife is running the show now that he has passed. everytime i tune in she is telling us to get on the phones and send money and hurry up! i do like religious shows and i tune in not for religion but to see what crazy thing could happen next. in my opinion scott was a smart entertainer,kinda like steve martin in leap of faith, he built an empire and now melissa is trying to keep up in which i dont think she will. great for us dish fans as for being candid, but definetly not for a religious viewing audience, she makes benny hinn look like a real preacher!
