I believe thats true, not 100% on that but I think the wing (61.5/148) dish would hook to the 3rd port.

Yes you can run a line in from a DP dual for a wing sat such as 61.5, 148, or the new 129.

there is no Dish Pro Plus single at this point there is only a Dish Pro Plus Twin and a Dish pro Plus 44

He's referring to C. The thread title is a wee bit vague but the question itself and the responses are very clear and use the proper names. DP Plus would not apply to an LNB as it is a capability of a multi-sat switch. As Dish Dude said those are the DPP44 and the one built in to the DPP Twin.

Ok I'm learning something new here, I didn't know that the DPP twin LNB had a third port for coupling another dish to it.

yes that is point of calling it plus, you have the 119,110 on one side and the third location input on the other side of the LNB

How would you do a multiple receiver install if you are taking the other port do you go into a 44 switch? Which would be seaseless in the first place.

I thought it was called Plus because you could run one wire to a 322.

Yup, Plus is the ability to run 1 wire to a dual tuner receiver, and legacy receivers w/o the DP adapter.

yes to all of the above the DPP TWIN takes the place of a DP 21 or DP 34 and is alot nicer to look at

DP PLUS Twin was designed, in my opinion, for Digital Home Advantage customers, who when signing up, can get up to 4 TV's. Dish likes customers to have the dual tuners for a number of reasons, reasons talked about in other posts no doubt. If you need programming from another DBS SAT (this excludes the 105 and 121), you could feed the line from that 2nd Dish into the 3rd port of the DPP TWIN.

The DPP Twin is a GREAT new addition to the LNBF lineup, but still has drawbacks: If installing more than 2 receivers (dual or single tuners, or even a combination of), it's 3rd port and ability to run one line to dual tuners both become useless, and you would then have to introduce a switch like the DP 3:4 or DPP 4:4.

I wish we could see the DPP 'Triplet', some type of modified quad, with the 4th port being the 2nd dish input! One can dream, right?
