Don't Look Now but FS1 is back

Just the RSNs that are named Fox*, which actually are owned by Sinclair, are affected. NESN is New England Sports Network.

Correct, I have BTN (Big 10) and I received an email from Dish on Saturday saying the channels were restored. Watched the Cowboys game on my local Fox broadcast station Sunday evening as well ...

I don't know what that is.

What Bobby said.

That's what the laughing face was for. I was being a wiseass. Your initial statement was that all RSNs are gone, but left it implied that it was the FOX Sports RSNs. So, I decided to be a wiseass, as Boston is not affected by this blackout. We get only NESN on Dish, and should they ever bring it back, our other is a NBC Sports RSN. So, Sinclair doesn't have any impact in our market.

NESN is essentially owned jointly by the Red Sox and Bruins. 80% is owned by the Red Sox ownership and 20% is owned by the company that owns the Bruins. Therefore, we aren't ever impacted when a big company has a peeing contest with Dish. Now if NESN can get rid of the crappy new logo with the wavy "N" and go back to NESN inside the ticket, I'd be much more happy.

Am I the only one surprised to find a live and functioning FS1 right now?

Hello bgee, DISH has reached an agreement with FOX and most of the FOX channels has been restored. Should you still be experiencing any issues please feel free to reach out to us. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused.
