Several Channels on the EWTN Mux on C Band @ 91W use DD audio tracks but my Onkyo shows them as DD 1+1 instead of the regular 2.0 that I was used to. Both CS receivers recognized them as DD and of course only the 8100 is able to decode it.
If I select the Direct processing mode in the Onkyo (in other words the onkyo will not do any surround processing at all and will send every audio direct to apropiate speaker) then I get only sound from both fron speakears and it seams to be mono audio I mean both front speakers produce the same sounds.
This was the first time I have seen this DD 1+1 digital audio track so I wanted to get more info on it. Does anyone knows if it is just the same Mono audio encoded digitally and directed to both front speakers?
