I was watching the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation DVD the other night, and peeked around its special features. It has the theatrical trailers for all four Vacation movies, and some of them are in DD 1.0 as indicated by my A/V receiver. 
Never seen (heard) that before. Of course it was only playing through my front center speaker and on my A/V receiver's display only the center channel and subwoofer were lit up (so maybe it's really 1.1).
The real funny thing is, the A/V receiver lit up its vertical blue LED which it has only used to indicate 5.1 in the past. DD 2.0 isn't good enough for the cool blue LED but 1.0 sure is apparently.
Christmas Vacation and the original were the ones in DD 1.0.
