Does your remote's "input" button ever just stop working?

I really enjoy being able to use the remote's input button to immediately switch between channels...except when the feature stops working for no apparent reason like it does periodically for me. Yesterday it did it and even a reboot didn't cure the problem. In fact, I don't know what combination of things I did caused the switch function to return. It simply did. Am I alone?

I use my input button to change inputs on my av receiver and it always works. Not sure about the way you are using it.

To swap between two receiver tuners when watching Dish satellite channels.

What model Hopper? If it's a Hopper 1 or 2 and you don't have any available tuners then the Input button has nothing to switch to.

You have plenty of tuners with an H3 so theoretically your Input button should always be working. Other than making sure your remote is in SAT mode I got nothin'.

Thanks for the response. When it happens both remotes paired to the H3 go out. H3 must be the problem itself.

When that happens you could try using the Picture in Picture side by side mode and then swap. That might bring it back.
