does Dish DVR has build-in QAM tuner?

I guess the answer is NO, but just want to make sure. Dish doesn't have my local channels in HD and I don't like an external antenna. Since Tivo doesn't support Dish, seems we only option will be to have two DVRs?

The 811 did. That was the only one receiver that had a QAM that I know of.

The 811 would only decode QAM on the satellite tuner. It was used for single wire distribution in multi-dwelling units. It would not decode clear QAM on its antenna input.

No echostar box willl decode QAM from cable. Only QAM from its own MDU installs.
