Not so much picture quality but defiantly signal strength and quality is effected depending on the quality of the LNB and the noise level (dB)

Since we are in the C-band area........

I just changed from the ASC-421 C-Band LNBF to the new BSC-421 LNBF and noticed an increase in signal quality, no difference in the digital picture.

What does the noise level do? Are we talking feedback on the channel you are watching or how loud the volume for the channel comes in?

I remember as a teen growing up on my parents BUD there was alot of popcorn on some of the channels. (about 16 years ago) Was C band only analog back then?

thanks for the info! :up

dB - Logarithmic representation of a mathematical value. It can be used to represent power (dBW), audio level (dBm), gain of an antenna (dBi) and losses in a system (dB).

I started in satellite when there only was analog, snow on the screen was normal between satellites, recently started messing about with analog C-Band again, amazed at the picture quality and I must say I missed the snow :)
