Do I need a Joey to connect a Hopper to 1 HDTV and 1 SDTV?

I'm currently using a VIP 722k box and I have one HDTV connected (using HDMI) and two SDTVs connected (using a splitter) using the "2nd TV output" jack on the box.

Does that Hopper have this type of feature?

I noticed it does have RCA jacks and HDMI, so I'm wondering if both are output simultanously because I could use an RF modulator (RCA to Coax) and possibly achieve the same effect?

garys is correct, assuming you always want to mirror the content. If you want independent viewing you need Hopper(s) + Joey(s).
