We have had Direct TV for a few years now. This whole time we have fought with our local NBC affiliate to get a waiver to be able to see the DNS. Direct TV tells us we should be able to get all the DNS (NY & L.A.) because of our location. We live in the woods. But our local NBC says no and they keep denying waivers.
We received CBS, ABC & Fox right away with no problem. But NBC is the problem, and it's our local NBC. Some people in our area are able to get the local affiliate but we live deeper in the woods and even with an antannea we have static, no color and sometimes just a blue screen.
Now Direct has sent me a form to fill out to apply for a line test. The analog line test is free, but if we want to have a HD line test we will have to pay ourselves (100-150$).
Anyone out there have similiar problems, and maybe have any help?
Thanks,
Marg in Oregon
