I am a new customer.
I want the HD DVR.
I do NOT have a phone line.
I want the $59.99 HD package ($39.99 for 10 months offer).

What is my monthly payment going to be?

Is there an extra charge for the HD DVR initially or on a monthly basis?

Is it a one year agreement?

Should I book directly through my local provider or call the 1-800 number? What's the difference?

Your questions suggest you haven't even read the DISH website. The HD DVR 622 has an upfront cost of $199.00 to lease. If not connected to a phone line there is a $5/Mo. fee for the second tuner and a $5.98/Mo. fee for DVR service.
The contract is 18 months.
Look an 800 number in the eyes, you can with a local dealer.
Monthly payment will be determined by your choice of programming,connection choices and any applicable taxes. You local dealer should be able to help you.
