purchased a DXM741U to install on 10' C/Ku band satellite dish. The instructions included or online for this feedhorn say to point the 0 degree polairty mark at either 12 O'clock or 6 O'clock. It fails to say where the dish should be on the satellite arc when this mark is at the 12 or 6 position. The feedhorn will rotate while scanning the arc. On my co-rotor 2 I have a alignment cardboard tool I install on the polarity motor which i would then set my dish exactly due south on the arc and the arrow on the tool should point straight up (12 O'clock) as this should be in line with the polar axis of my dish. Anyone know exactly where the dish needs to be on the arc for the 0 mark to be at 12 O'clock? Thanks, Chad:confused:

Probably should mention that when I said point the dish due south, I meant to your due south satellite for where you live. If due south is a problem then you can use one a couple of degrees to either side of that.

Do major earthquakes wreak havoc with dish setups?
