I just got an dmx7 c/ku band lnb but hot do you use this blanky blank thing?
I hook it up have the jummer from the top to the lnb right side got my rev. cable on the left side. do the scans and only get cband?? I use evry listed lnb on the list on my satwork even lnb 4 (last one on the list is 4) even thoug it's only one lnb 3 and 4 works???
odd. whats odder is if scan on nominal 1-4 it will only get half of the c band and when I use the Universal scan 1-4 I get the other half and some times I cant get any ch at all then sometimes I do. and I know I'm on the right sat I get about 40% thats the best nomater what I trun and what not. but I can't get any ku at all.
so is the lnb mess up or is it me?
by the way has the sound went out on this tv on amc3 or is that me too?
thanks evey one

It works fine for both C and Ku, but it's not "plug-n-play"
Here is a Pic showing the connections.

Now for your setup, some details would be helpful....
Which model DMX741 did you get, choices are "Universal" and "Standard"
Receiver Model
Sat you are setting up to
Any other switches being used

I would...
Remove the Jumper Cable, and only connect to the C Band LNB - marked "RCVR"
Pick a Sat that has both C and Ku
Once you have a signal for C and, power down the receiver and switch the connection to the Ku LNB at the tip of the DMX741
Power up the receiver and setup for the Ku LNB
Standard: L.O. - 10750 - 22KHz On
Universal: Low L.O. - 9750, High L.O. 10600 - DiSEqC Port 2
