Distant Network Service and HD

I recently subscribed to Dish. I have a ViP612 with a 1000.2 WA antenna setup. I added a second dish to access 72.7(?) so that I could get NYC locals in HD ( because I have an RV I was able to get Distant Network Service). When I do a check switch it recognizes the setup properly but after it does a download I lose my west coast DNS feeds in HD and have to live with only SD (for both east and west coast feeds). How can I get both in HD?
