He closed. Part of the problem was that Dish sold him some gear and then dropped the price so he was stuck with stuff that he could only take a loss on.

That stuff happens all the time when you run a business that sells products. I have to deal with that with Dish, TVs and appliances. If you're lucky sometimes you can get price protection. Just seems to be the nature of the business.
