DishNet in Puerto Vallarta

Hi All!

I have had Direct TV in my home in Vallarta for years using receivers from my account based in Arizona. In Mexico I have an 8 ft dish. Unless the current Direct TV issue resolve themselves, I need to consider other options.

If I was to subscribe to Dish in my home in Az. could I bring some receivers down to Mexico and use them with my 8 ft dish? I have heard you actually need 2 dishes for Dishnet to work in Mexico..True? Would I get locals? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Maz

Depends on what channels you want. http://www.dishchannelchart.com will tell you what's where. Lots of people run 119 only.

Another factor depending on your dish's LNB is that you will NOT be able to use a dual-tuner E* box without going through some gyrations.
