Hi all, apologies is this question is off base, but does anything connected with DishAnywhere on Windows 10 install Sling Media? I have a sling media folder in my Windows Users/Appdata/Roaming file that's taking up around 600 GB of space. I thought there might be some connection with DishAnywhere as they were installed on the machine around the same time. I uninstalled DA but the huge Sling file is still there. I don't have any other Sling-related programs on my PC that I'm aware of and would like to manually delete this space-hog without screwing up my machine.

Did you open the files & see what's is in it?

Yes, it's a massive text file CacheSlingSS_log.txt I'm pretty sure it must be OK to delete it; just trying to figure out how it got there and DISH was the only thing that made any sense as they were installed the same week. Searching the internet on that file name however turns up nothing.

Frank deleting will not hurt your Windows.
Have no idea of the large size or type of file it is but I would do a full scan after you delete and reboot.
I have Sling on my PC and don't have any file like that.

600GB, you must have a terrabyte or larger drive, of course. I have a 500GB drive but I do not have a slingmedia file in in the roaming folder, the whole roaming folder is about 3.3 GB. I did a search of my C: drive and found no file by that name.
