Why does DISH give me a message "router not detected?" I have a Netgear nighthawk router, and my internet works fine for my work and home computers and phones. I just cannot get the premium channels to work. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

He should call for a tech visit.Obviously, there's an issue with the Hopper's Network Card.
That’s a good point that I forgot about, if the hopper is connected to a Wi-Fi extender, it will cause the kind of issues that the op is seeingI had that problem once. Turned out to be an internet signal booster. The signal from the router and the signal from the booster confused the receiver.
