Anyone in the Cincinnati area will recognize Mike McConnell for his mid-day talk show. Yesterday, a telemarketer for Dish Networks called up to the (unscreened) direct celebrity hotline, undoubtedly using a random telephone number dialer. Fun ensues...

Start listening at around 25:30 minutes, or 11:45 minutes left, depending on how you have your media player set up.

I kept FFwding, finally about 2/3 across the slider you can find the foreign speaking woman, the rest of the show was very annoying. It lasted about 30 seconds and she hung up.

Here is the transcript:

Mike: We had ..., A computer called giving us an offer on satellite television.

<Ringing>

Mike: Hello

<A woman caller with Indian accent>
Caller: Yeah, Hi, This is <uninteligible Name>, would you like to receive a free satellite system?

Mike: Would I?

Caller: Would you like to receive a free satellite system, Sir?

Mike: I'm not sure I can understand you. Where are you calling from?

Caller: I am calling from Cheyenne Wyoming, sir. I am taking enrollment for Dish Network.

Mike: You don't sound like anyone I ever met in Cheyenne Wyoming.

Caller: Maybe it's because of my connection, I'm sorry about that.

Mike: How far is Cheyenne from Casper?

<Click>

Mike: She hung up. She's not in Cheyenne Wyoming. Cheyane the Phillipians maybe.
