WASHINGTON — Satellite-TV provider Dish Network — which is no fan of the proposed merger of Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks — took aim at the Bright House portion of the deal in an Federal Communications Commission filing, using information gleaned from highly confidential deal material the regulator made available to third parties.

Bright house sucks. I sell their service and it's a joke.

People call me to order bright house and we try to sell them something else.

If charter would take over their areas it would be a blessing.

Dish knows this, and only opposes a merger because Customers in bright house areas would get better service and there would be less reason for them to consider Dish as an option.

Remember this merger is not like dish and directv combining into 1 company giving consumers less choices.

It's 1 company changing to another.

There are no areas If any where charter, Blighthouse, and time warner serve the same areas.

How about Dish figure out how to provide affordable and reliable internet services so they can better compete with the cable companies and Directv/Att

Sure... The problem is wireless internet is MILES behind wire line internet.
While the voice portion is just fine, Verizon 4G SUCKS..It's slow when it is available and balky most of the time.
I disagree with your assertion that its one company simply changing to another. Its three companies attempting to become one. That in and of itself gives the new firm more clout. Too much IMO....
Keep them separate so they don't gain the power to slam the internet shut and jack up prices for what we have now...
I understand your interest is in the profits you believe you will realize if the companies became one. That's fine. But the consumer will take it in the shorts. And that is unacceptable.

I'll be honest with you both the Time Warner and Brighthouse online order portal sucks.

Comcast and Charter actually have a good system in place

Charter actually has cheaper and better internet packages than Time Warner and Brighthouse.

In addition Charter uses 1 rate for the entire country, so the rate in Michigan is the same in any of their other areas such as California. Unlike Comcast and Time Warner where the rates vary from region to region due to competition.

As 1 company changes its name to another, the competition is the same, as it didn't eliminate a choice to the consumer.

Other thing to consider, especially Brighthouse is that they service like 5 areas. There is 2 pockets in Michigan outside of detroit, Orlando Florida and a few others. Time warner is a bigger company, but even after this merger they will still not be as big as Comcast, AT&T/Directv.

The Comcast / Time warner merger I agree was an issue and I'm glad that one didn't go through.

Let's put it this way, I sell 1000 Comcast a month, 100 time warners, 40 Charter, 15 Blighthouse and 10 Mediacom sales per month to put this in perspective as to what percentage of business I do on a nationwide basis.

Really p****d off at DISH
