I need to connect two VIP722 dual tuner receivers to a single port of a DPP44 switch. Can I cascade separators and/or triplexers? Which has less insertion loss? Thanks, Carson

Are you saying conclusively that two separators or a separator and a triplexer cannot be connected in tandem?

You can't split a feed from a lnb/switch to two receivers with a seperator or triplexer. Each receiver needs its own feed.

I believe a separator can only be used on the 2 inputs of 1 dual tuner. Band splitting.
You should be able to use a separator on each of 2 ports of a DPP44 to feed 2 722s.
Port 1, used for power input can be on 1 of those lines or on its own line to the power supply.
I have had 2 722s and a 622 fed from the DPP44 on 3 lines one shared with OTA. Hopper now.

Many thanks for the information to all who responded. I've just pulled two feeds off a second DPP44 to solve the issue.
