Dish Receivers

They have a "final" stamp of Echostar themselves, although the parts come from all over the world - just like any ther piece of electronics (including Motorola).

Other question: Is it possible to get a 2nd UHF remote, that usually controls the TV2 output on a Dual Tuner DVR625 and set it up to control TV1? Or is TV1 for IR remotes only?

Yes, it is. If you press Menu > 6 > 1 > 6, you should be at the TV1 UHF setup screen. You will, of course, need an extra UHF remote before you set it up.

Thanks for info chaddux. Now how do I tell the new remote to control TV1 and not TV2?
I can not find anything in the Dish Manual about that...

I assume that's taken care of with the above-mentioned menu. I've never done it so I really don't know.

Go into the system info screen. Using the old #1 IR remote move up to highlight the address of the TV1 remote. Now using the new UHF remote press and hold the SAT button untill all the buttons at the top light up. Then type in a new number for 1 - 19 then hit the # button. The Sat button will flash 3 times then hit the record button. Now you should see the address change and it should say UHF and IR.
