I meant the Big 4 plus PBS at $2 each would equal $10 a month if that cost was matched across the board to all the local channels
Wow is that right? I thought PBS declared "must carry" to get on Dish at all.

...RMS TITANIC...Wow, the thread had gone so far off the rails, I think it is on a boat now.
I could easily see the negotiations continuing for the rest of the year. Given the number of channels and I am sure Dish is working the options on each channel (Dish on Demand/digital rights, HD, SD, volume discounts, package tiers, etc) to death. There is a lot to be negotiated.

So when is c-span up for renewal?

I was referring to the thread as being the Titanic, not Dish. Half of the "other" side hang out over here because...more drama, and WAY cooler people!!!I think Dish sometimes feel more like the Titanic but at least this side of the forum is always more interesting than the other side .
:deadAnother week of college football and still no ESPNU in HD from Dish. Getting it from Direct is irrelevant and no real official word as of today is just lame.
:dead
LOL at ESPNU. Cincinnati vs UConn. I won't be watching. Not because it's not HD. It's because I rarely watch that channel because the games aren't very good. Whether that channel is in HD is irrelevant to me.
