Server Issues. We are very aware that there have been system issues the past few days. In troubleshooting the system, it has been determined that the issue is at our provider and is hardware related. As of 12:05 PM ET our provider has moved us to a new server.
Things seem to be running better on this new server. However in trying to diagnose the issue (before finding out it was a hardware issue) we made some system changes which we need to undo. So if you find any issues or errors please let us know in the Operations Center Forum.

Reports are (from places like the WSJ) that the basic deal is done (i.e. channels) but streaming rights are still being negotiated. So, I do not expect any channel blackouts or even press releases until streaming rights are finalized.
waiting a few more weeks is fine if there was a confirmation of yes we are getting ESPNU and WatchESPN access with our Dish accounts otherwise I'll keep beating my head against the wall as a few weeks turn into a few months that turn into a few years thus far.
I wonder if ESPN Classic will remain in Multi-Sport or be placed in a basic package or a la carte? The local cable company had it in the sports add-on package but pulled it and is now offering it for $3 month (which, IMHO, is a good bit more than it is worth).

Just a guess but thinking would stay in multisport but would be nice if ESPN made it HD, many of the "classic stuff" is from recent years now
I have never seen someone that is so bothered by certain posts. It obviously really bugs you and again you still scan this thread. Let me ask you a question. If you go to a movie and you hate it..... will you see the sequel just to be able to complain about it?
I guess I'm the only one that will call you out on it.
I'm guessing it might stay there also. I'd like to watch Global Wrestling but it isn't worth an upgrade from DA to 120+ and $11 more bucks for Multi Sport. I'll just YouTube it.
