i hope you will help me.i got a dish 500 from a friend so i don't have any manual.i got 110 fine. but no signal for 119.can you tell me the skew for zip code 11729.thanks

*Azimuth numbers are already adjusted for magnetic deviation. They should match your local compass reading.

I had fun pointing one of these. What kind of lnb do you have on it.
twin or dual?

Note one of them has an switch build in. That is what I did not know and I wasted time on it. Pointing the dish after that was easy.

Oh ya the receiver should also be able to tell you skew once you input your zip code.

are you trying to install a Dish 500 for Dish Network or for FTA?

There isnt much on FTA that you can get (the audio channels)...if you are trying to do this for illegal use we don';t allow that here

What are you trying to pick up on Dish? The audio channels or all the channels?

all 119 and 110 channels

The only way to legally get (almost) all the channels on 110 and 119 is to subscribe to Dish Network. A legal FTA system will only get you a stray channel or two, plus some audio channels.
