Using a Dish 500 antenna. Have a strong (92) signal on 110, but zero on 119. Checked all three angles and correct or very close. Possible wire lead in problem on 119 or dead LNB on 119? QUESTION: if getting a strong signal on 110 DishNet sat should the 119 at least be close to correct aim with some signal showing on the 119? On the SW21 switch the 119 is not showing at all just the two XX. Replaced SW21 switch and got same results. Located in Western Colorado. Thanks for your help. Lee

Make sure mast (post/pole) is PERFECTLY level and has a solid mount (not wobbling). Try repointing dish. Turn dish to the right (from behind) to get dish out of alingment. Then slowly move to left until you get highest signal on 119. 110 should now be good also.

Used your method of pointing to get very strong signal (92) on 110 sat. Get zero signal on 119. If getting a strong signal on the 110 is it reasonable to assume that at least some signal should be showing on the 119? Have checked the post and it is perfectly upright and antenna numbers seem correct.

Cover you 110 lnb and see if you are in fact getting 110 through the 110 lnb. If you still get it, you are getting it through the 119 lnb and you would need to move your dish 9 degrees. If you are getting 110 through the 110 lnb, your skew may be slightly off, you could have a bad coax or connection or switch may be bad.

Thank you to all that replied. Covering the 110 and 119 LNB indicated that the 119 LNB signal never reached the sat receiver. Further investigation found a broken wire in the 119 lead in cable. Repaired wire and now 110 and 119 work perfectly. Thanks again to those who replied. It DID help find the problem that was well hidden by construction. Lee in Colorado

1000.4 dish - add a 3rd receiver?
