Dish Pass oddity with VS

I have a dish pass set for 'boxing' which works quite well, but one oddity shows up when it comes to boxing on VS. It will schedule and record the event on both the mapped down channel number and the 9xxx channel number at the same time. Never happens with any other channel, just VS.

Any idea as to what is going on and maybe a clue as to how to stop it?

Try eliminating the higher channel numbers by locking them out . I only use the lower mapped channels and block out the sd versions and the hd versions in 9000 range. It makes my guide look cleaner and there is no problems with the wrong version getting recorded.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've done that, now I'll check after a reboot tonight to see if it makes a difference.

Hmmm....

Did a power reset and it still picks up the locked out 9466 VS channel too. Irritating, but not earth shaking.

Did you "Hide Locked"? That will be in the Locks Menu. Menu-5-8 I believe.

Yep, did that too. Still does the same thing.

This is just darned weird! Only with VS does this occur, no other channel.
