dish out of aligment?

have not been able to watch too much FTA recently but my dish is normally pointed at IA5. The other day I switched to it and notice that the quality is gone. I moved the dish to G10 and that signal quality is good. Before I had good quality on a number of satellites but somehow IA5 is no longer one of them.

Any suggestions what the cause is? In other words: How can I still have good signal quality on G10 and no longer on IA5 even though before I had them all at good quality. We have had some bad storms here but wouldn't alignment be lost on all sats if something had moved?

If you are using DiSEqC 1.2 the receiver may have "forgotten" the position. I would use a LIVE TP. and try to find it again. Then number and store, maybe you have recently added a satellite position and used the same number of position.

If you are using USALS double check you are still set at the right Latitude and that you have LAT. (North) and LONG. (West)

I take it nothing has changed with your line of sight to the satellite, nothing over hanging the dish?
