Just curious as to what speeds people are getting on downloads with Dish Online? I have AT&T 6 meg. My 722 is hooked to my network via cat5 to a 4 port HomePlug switch, and was getting around 4.7 meg/sec last night. Is that about right?

My connection is 10/768, I typically see 5-6.5 when I have downloaded from Dish. If I had your connection what you listed is what I would expect.
Dish Online is slow as hell! I'm running at 50/20 speed and takes almost two hours to download a typical movie on Dish Online. Compared to a Blu-ray movie with my computer in less then a minute
Thats not the speed I am getting
I am getting around 1.8 with the build in home plug from dish on one receiver and 2.2 on another with a one port home plug adapter. The dish receiver for some reason will not recognize my system even though I have it plugged into a powerswitch which is homeplug compatible.

a 50meg bit /sec connection is a 6.25 meg byte connection, in 60seconds,or 1 mintue you could download 375 megabytes,or roughly half of a music cd, a 50 gig blu ray will take you about 133 minutes,if you are talking bluray converted to mp4, and compressed to about 5 gigs, it will take you over 12 mintues to download,so wth are you talking about 1 minute for blu ray?
