Dish On Demand freeze's 722 DVR, then resets itself.

When I hit the DVR button (on either tuner) and hit TV Shows, then Search by Network, it shows no networks, my remote stops responding, the picture and sound freeze, and my DVR resets itself. Anybody else having this problem?
 
Contacted Dish, they had me unplug the receiver, (which I had already tried before.) And run a connection test. (Menu>6>3>Connection) That said Broadband OK, and I don't have a phone line connected so that failed obviously. How did running a connection test fix anything? I had this problem for days...

I have had this issue on both of my 722k's. Seems to happen only late at night here. However I have received the L682 update, had L680, and in L681 they said they messed with on-demand, so I'm going to just assume it's software bugs. I'll have to check it out on L682 and see how well it works. Though right now it's giving me the old "Networks: 0" thing though so I guess I'll have to test later.
 
It seems like there is an issue in the hard drive itself. If after a hard reset and a check switch test you still having the same issue I would be more than happy to take care of this for you.

L682 didn't fix the issue for me, but I highly doubt it's the hard drive. No biggie I guess.
 
After the update it worked for a day, then it's doing it again. Mine shows -2 as well. Could somebody report this to Dish, as its getting quite annoying. Networks:0, no response from the remote, video freeze's, DVR hard resets itself. I chatted online with Dish, and they have no idea about this. One of my friends in Iowa has the same problem with her 722k DVR, so it could just be a small isolated bug. Hopefully it's fixed soon....

I can get it escalated for you. I do need you to PM your phone number or account number. Also try and provide any details that may have been left out if you can think of any.
 
Well, after running a check switch and trying again it now works.... probably will stop working again tomorrow because CS told me to do the same thing a couple days ago. Run a check switch, works for a couple days, then stops working again and freeze's the DVR. It seems the only time it works is after running a check switch where it downloads a program guide update...
 
Every since DISH added the new dish on demand screen and reorganized the dish online portion of the vods, this has been a problem. I say this is software bug that was introduced, when they redid the screen and menus for dish online. Which means DISH will have to do another software update to fix it. Replacing the receiver, won't help I'm afraid.
 
Same exact problem here. Someone filled out a technical problem report and I never received a resolution. My 722 had problems with the old DISHOnline too. But now it usually only happens when 0 networks show up under DISH Cinema.
