I was looking at Dish Network on the BBB website today just out of curiosity and noticed that today, 7/30/2009 is when their BBB membership expired. They are now no longer listed as a member.
I wonder if this is an oversight or if Charlie does not care any more?

Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of F.
Reasons for this rating include:
  • 13281 complaints filed against business
  • Government action(s) against business.
  • Advertising issue(s) found by BBB.

I filed a complaint when they wouldn't send me my rebate...and I got it right away. In fact, I wound up getting two. (I only cashed one.)

This is humorous, but I have to agree; complaining to the BBB has never gotten me anywhere when I'm had disputes with merchants. Very overrated.

the bbb is just a cover for extortion. what good does the bbb actually do for the merchant? its probably better to have no grade with the bbb then to have an F grade. why should dish pay a 3rd party to give people an extra way to complain?

+1:up

I for one and probably many others appreciate that you are an advocate for TurboHD customers. Keep up the good work!
Thanks. I really don't understand why some here want to hide the fact that TurboHD subs are getting the shaft. One thing is for certain, the ones "yawning" aren't TurboHD subs!!!

Dish is Charging instantly for PPV?
