Dish Network switch with FTA

I am starting to build my FTA system and I want to know if a DP44 switch will work with a coolsat receiver?

unless you have a bunch of bandstacked KU LNB's it wont work

last I checked you could. But there isnt much a DP LNB will get sans NASA & Angel One
