If I plug a disnetwork receiver into the DirecTV 3 slot dish with built in multiswitch, would it at least receive 119? There are NO receivers connected to this dish, this would be the only receiver.

No that dish defaults to 101 w, the dish ird lacks the 22kz tone to switch the multiswitch so the answer is no.

Oh ok thats right, what if I aim it so the 101 lnb is pointed at 119?

Also will new receivers like the 322 work with the old school single LNB dish or do you have to have dish pro?

The Direct dish won't work with E* IRD's. The 322 will work with any Legacy or Dish Pro LNB. If it is a Legacy LNB you need two feeds into the unit to work properly.

What about the 311, it appears to be dishpro only, is that right?
