Dish Network Locals - Hopper and Wally

We have a Hopper and Joey at our home and 2 Wally's in our RV. When we travel in the RV we have to call Dish to update our locals to our current location's zip code. When we do this, it removes the locals from the guide on the Hopper and Joey. Also any DVR recordings we had setup on the Wally are useless because the local channel numbers have changed.

Are there any HD locals that are broadcast "nationwide"? That way I could set my zip code to that area and both the Wally and Hopper would always receive the signal.

Sorry for the newbie questions, but it is a major pain to call dish every 4 or 5 days to change a zip code and have no locals at home. I have tried the OTA antenna for the hopper, but we are in a valley where we don't pick up any OTA locals even with an antenna and booster.

Thanks,
Brandon

This is the list of CONUS beamed locals that I currently have. The two that I've personally verified recently are Jacksonville, FL and Bluefield, WV.

It looks like DISH might finally be removing some of these CONUS local markets which is bad news for RVers. As of my survey this morning here is what is there as far as HD markets go:

Billings, MT 129
Casper, WY 77
Charlottesville, VA 77
Cincinnati, OH 77
Davenport/Rock Island, IA 77
Evansville, IN 77
Fort Wayne, IN 61.5
Lexington, KY 77
Little Rock, AR 77
Louisville, KY 77
Paducah, KY/Harrisburg, IL 77
Sacramento, CA 110
Springfield, MO 77

The biggest loss IMO is Jacksonville, FL. That gave you a nice sized TV market with a good selection of sports and PBS stations from two states that are now gone.

I agree Jacksonville is a big loss. I've used it often when we're in southern Georgia and northern Florida. I even used it in upstate NY to follow the more extensive hurricane damage reports during the storms.

These CONUS DMA's are still available in SD on 119:

Baltimore, MD 119
Great Falls, MT 119
New York City 119

I’m not sure Jacksonville is gone from 77. The unlink from 8/7 shows it removed and added at the same time with a channel number change?

Is it safe to turn on Google Assistant if you're "moved"?
