DISH Network Election Poll Shows Sen. Kerry Leading in Race for
President; Kerry Predicted to Get 50.1 Percent of Popular Vote

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2004--EchoStar
Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: DISH) and its DISH Network(TM), the

announced that a DISH Network pre-election poll of its customers
indicates Sen. John Kerry is leading the nationwide popular vote in
the race for the presidency.
As of mid-day Monday, one day before the election, Sen. Kerry led
by about two percentage points with 50.1 percent of the popular vote,

I have a sign in my front yard here in Ohio. Every little bit helps, especially since I live in a hugely republican neighborhood. Hell, the whole south-Dayton area is quite republican. So, in hindsight, you all now have pretty good chances of finding my house. I'm sure it's the only one in the area with two dishes (one motorized), an OTA antenna, and a Kerry sign.

P.S. Go Kerry! :)

The election is going to depend on if Kerry can get the Democrats out to vote. I am hoping they are once again too lazy to show up. My vote is already cast and it is not for Kerry. If the Democrats show up and vote, they will win.

You really need to find out the poll sources and then look at their internals. One reason is that many polls are assuming 9 out of 10 undecideds are going to vote in faver of the challenger and not the incumbent.

They are not doing any factors showing that some will not even vote.

Historically in earlier races when examining the undecided, the split has been 36% challenger, 32% incumbent, 15% other and the rest not voting at all.

Using these numbers swings the results to a different result for the current polls.

Good or Bad depending on who you want to win.

In either case, I hope the winner is by a sufficient margin that we don't spend months of time with lawsuites, etc before knowing who's the new president elect.

Well, if Kerry wins, we will see a liar, baby killer and back stabber in the White House and as the leader of the Armed Forces the next four years.

Barry, don't you think this is going a little overboard?

Just so you know I am writing in a vote for Spongebob...I believe in free speech as much as anyone else...but....oh hell...Closing
